Mabel's Helpful Hints:

Cut sweet rolls without a knife...

if you make sweet rolls from scratch, you'll need to cut them into individual rolls. Using a knife may flatten them a bit.  Instead, use dental floss to cut individual rolls.  Works well for cutting sheet cake, too!

De-Salt the soup...

If you've put too much salt in soup or stew, add finely chopped raw potatoes.  If potatoes are not appropriate for the recipe, put in large chunks and remove them just before serving.
